THE COMPANY
The «Southern Mining and Metallurgical Complex» LLC is a leading manufacturing holding company that combines and coordinates the activities of key metallurgical, chemical and extractive assets of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
The company began operations in July 2021.
The YUGMK mission is to preserve and develop the industrial potential of Donbas, ensure the stable operation of the system-forming enterprises in the region and promote the socio-economic revival of the territories through the creation of sustainable employment and implementation of significant public initiatives.
Today, more than 20,000 people are employed at the holding company’s enterprises located in strategically important industrial centers of the DPR and the LPR.
YUGMK Group is the largest industrial association in the industrial sector of Donbas. The Group includes:
- Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant (LPR)
- Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant (LPR)
- Enakievo Metallurgical Plant (DPR)
- Makeevka Metallurgical Plant (DPR)
- Makeevkoks (DPR)
- Yasinovsky Coke Plant (DPR)
- Komsomolskoye Mining Company (DPR)
YUGMK Group of Companies is the largest taxpayer of the LPR and the DPR.
Since its foundation, UGMK has made a significant contribution to the rehabilitation of the industrial infrastructure of Donbas, consistently implementing the strategy of expanding production capacities, increasing output, strengthening the industrial capacity of the regions and creating new jobs.
