August 1930 — the beginning of construction of the Novo-Makeyevsky coke plant. By its capacity and technical equipment, the plant under construction was in those years the largest enterprise in the country’s coke-chemical industry with a complete chemical cycle.

December 13, 1932 — the first coke was received. In a short period of time, the Novo-Makeevsky coke plant again became an advanced one in the coke-chemical industry.
1933 — commissioning of a coal preparation shop, coke batteries 1, 2, 3, as well as ammonia and sulphate sections of the by-product recovery plant.
June 26, 1934 — the «Coke chemist from Makeevka» newspaper of general circulation was founded.
1941–1943 — most of the equipment was dismantled and evacuated to Kuzbass.
June 24, 1944 — issued the first coke of restored coke oven.
